Well
Silly season is almost here & we have some fun
nights lined up for you all. Firstly
RISBY group only we have
no hall this coming Wednesday
(13th) as the School are using hall for Nativity
play! Sorry.
Our Christmas Party
Nights are always fun, we kick off with a
Fun Mixed level class suitable for all, everyone
brings a plate of festive nibbles to share. Paul
will be DJ of course for your dancing. Please wear
something Christmassy you can fancy dress it or
just have a hat, tie, brooch but please do
something to add to the festivities!
Steeple Morden is Tuesday
19th December
& Risby Wednesday 20th
December, both 7.30-11.30pm. Soft dinks
provided BYO booze. These are open to anyone class
members past, present &
friends.
Fools that we are, we decided to
give you an extra party the following week on
Thursday 28th December at Steeple
Morden with a bring your leftovers party
feel. Come & dance off all that food & see
your friends.
A little plea! We start
our new courses the first week in
January & we would love to see lots of
people back to each group, so many people start a
course & for various reasons give up, (we
truly believe far too soon) without really giving
the dance and yourselves a true chance at grasping
it! So come back & try again, tell us what you
are struggling with & stick out a term. Also
encourage your friends to try it too!
Our
improver/Intermediate classes
vary from some simple 8 count stuff to Lindy Turn
& Charleston variations plus all sorts of
cool jazz step moves. So even if you have done
Lindy for a while we usually find something you
haven't tried before and it is mainly lead-able so
come give it a go!
Don't forget we have
our Monthly Rhythm Joint in Newmarket on
Friday 5th January it's a lovely social
night for practice so if you haven't been before
collect a free entry voucher in class!

We
have been forced to cancel this Wednesday's Lindy
Hop classes because the school have their
Christmas productions in Risby village hall &
a replacement hall could not be
found.
We
are back on the following Wednesday (20th
December2017) with our Christmas
Party!
