to all our new beginners we hope you are
enjoying our classes, don't be afraid to use the
practice time after your class & feel free
to ask for help, it takes time to master a new
skill so be patient you will get
it!
Our Autumn Hop 'til U
Drop swing dance is under three weeks away so if
you want discounted tickets send for them or
collect them soon as they will be £12 on the
door! Don't worry if you are new or on your own
plenty from class will be around + there is a
bar & watching is fine. Can't wait it will
be a great night Laura B & the Moonlighters
were brilliant at theTwinwood
Festival!
Hot News we now have a
dance shoe stall coming to the event, selling
both Aris Allen & Bleyer Shoes a great
chance to try on different styles.
Do keep an eye on the
"What's Swinging" on website for more local
events & some fantastic weekenders of all
kinds some vintage some are fun & classes,
some luxury do check them out on the links page
there is always somewhere to go dancing
& usually lots of friends to go with!
The 100 Club to
Close!
Amongst other gigs such
as Coventry & Nottingham "lil' Miss
Hayley" (Deb's 17 year old daughter) played her
Double Bass & Sang with the Jive Aces at the
100 Club in Oxford Street last week, as
breaking news was announced that it is to
close at Christmas! This iconic Jazz Club
which has had so many famous
names preforming there is
legendary. An on-line campaign to save The
100 Club is up & running you can pledge
money & buy T-Shirts & just sighn up
your support, it will be a tragedy for it to
close a true piece of British heritage
gone!
We
would like to thank you all for your continued
support & hope you keep coming along &
enjoying classes with us, don't forget we have a
reputation for running quote "the most friendly club
ever!" We hope it is not
intimidating or clicky in any way, we like you
to be challenged & yet have fun & try to
keep the classes as varied as possible. We also
hope that if you have a problem of any kind you
